Description: DFGX Dimensional Global ex US

DFGX is a NASDAQ-listed exchange-traded fund that pursues its investment objective by investing primarily in non-U.S. dollar-denominated foreign and U.S. debt securities. As a USD-hedged global bond ETF, it uses currency hedging strategies to neutralize foreign exchange risk, making returns driven primarily by interest rate movements rather than currency fluctuations.

The portfolio manager constructs the fund by selecting fixed income securities that mature within twenty years from the settlement date, placing it in the intermediate-term bond segment of the fixed income market. The fund is required to maintain exposure to at least three countries outside the United States, providing geographic diversification across developed and potentially emerging sovereign and corporate debt markets.

Launched on November 7, 2023, DFGX is classified as a small-cap ETF with approximately $1,592 million in assets under management. ETFs operate under a passive fund structure, allowing investors to buy and sell shares throughout the trading day at market prices while gaining proportional exposure to the underlying basket of fixed income securities.
