Natural Gas, Pipelines, Energy Storage, Power Generation, Crude Oil

TC Energy Corporation is a leading energy infrastructure company in North America, operating through five distinct segments: Canadian Natural Gas Pipelines, U.S. Natural Gas Pipelines, Mexico Natural Gas Pipelines, Liquids Pipelines, and Power and Energy Solutions.

The company's extensive network of natural gas pipelines spans over 93,600 kilometers, connecting supply basins to local distribution companies, power generation plants, industrial facilities, interconnecting pipelines, LNG export terminals, and other businesses. This vast network enables the efficient transportation of natural gas to meet the energy demands of various industries and consumers.

In addition to its pipeline network, TC Energy Corporation operates regulated natural gas storage facilities with a total working gas capacity of 532 billion cubic feet. This capacity allows the company to store natural gas during periods of low demand and supply it during periods of high demand, helping to balance the energy market.

The company's liquids pipeline system, stretching approximately 4,900 kilometers, connects Alberta's crude oil pipeline to refining markets in Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas, and the United States Gulf Coast. This system plays a critical role in the transportation of crude oil to refineries, ultimately supplying refined petroleum products to consumers.

TC Energy Corporation also has a significant presence in the power generation sector, with ownership or interests in facilities capable of producing approximately 4,600 megawatts of power. Furthermore, the company owns and operates non-regulated natural gas storage facilities in Alberta, Ontario, Québec, and New Brunswick, with a total capacity of approximately 118 billion cubic feet.

With a rich history dating back to 1951, TC Energy Corporation has undergone significant transformations, including a name change from TransCanada Corporation to TC Energy Corporation in May 2019. Today, the company is headquartered in Calgary, Canada, and continues to play a vital role in North America's energy infrastructure landscape.
