Description: IUSB Core Total USD Bond Market

The iShares Core Total USD Bond Market ETF (IUSB) is an exchange-traded fund that primarily invests at least 80% of its assets in the component securities of its underlying index, along with to-be-announced (TBA) transactions that closely mirror those securities. TBAs are forward-settling contracts widely used in the U.S. agency mortgage-backed securities market, allowing funds to lock in prices on bonds that have not yet been issued. The index tracks the performance of U.S. dollar-denominated taxable bonds spanning both investment-grade and high-yield credit ratings, giving the fund broad exposure across the U.S. bond market.

As an Intermediate Core-Plus Bond ETF, IUSB offers investors diversified access to U.S. fixed income through a passively managed index-replication strategy, with returns driven primarily by coupon payments and changes in bond prices tied to interest rate movements. The inclusion of both investment-grade and high-yield securities allows the fund to capture higher yields from lower-rated issuers while maintaining a core allocation to higher-quality debt.
