Capital Group Municipal Income ETF (CGMU) is a non-diversified actively managed ETF that primarily invests in debt securities exempt from regular federal income tax, allocating at least 80% of its assets to such instruments. The fund may invest up to 30% of its assets in securities subject to the federal alternative minimum tax (AMT), and maintains at least 65% of holdings in investment-grade debt rated BBB- or Baa3 or higher by a nationally recognized statistical rating organization (NRSRO). Classified within the Muni National Intermediate category, CGMU focuses on intermediate-duration municipal bonds issued across U.S. state and local governments, offering investors income that is generally free from federal taxation.
