Description: DFGR Dimensional Trust

DFGR is a passively managed ETF that provides exposure to the global real estate sector using a market capitalization weighted strategy. The fund holds a diversified portfolio of U.S. and non-U.S. companies operating in real estate, with a particular emphasis on real estate investment trusts (REITs) and companies considered REIT-like by the Advisor, spanning both developed and emerging markets. It invests in companies across all market capitalizations.

As a market-cap weighted fund, larger real estate companies by total market value receive proportionally greater weight in the portfolio. REITs are publicly traded entities that typically own, operate, or finance income-producing properties such as commercial, residential, industrial, and healthcare facilities, and they generally distribute the majority of their taxable income as dividends to shareholders.

Headlines to Watch Out For
  • Fed rate cuts boost REIT valuations and ETF inflows
  • Global commercial real estate fundamentals drive underlying holdings
  • Currency volatility impacts non-US real estate exposure returns
