Description: FTRB Federated Hermes Trust
TRB is an actively managed bond ETF that invests primarily in U.S. dollar-denominated, investment-grade fixed-income securities. The fund may also allocate to higher-risk segments of the bond market-including high-yield, non-U.S. dollar denominated, and emerging market debt-when Federated Investment Management Company views their risk-return profile as favorable.

As a Core-Plus Bond ETF, FTRB combines a foundation of higher-quality investment-grade debt with smaller satellite positions in riskier sectors. The prospectus permits up to 25% of total assets in non-investment-grade (junk) debt, reflecting the plus allocation that distinguishes this category from a pure core bond fund. Like other ETFs, shares trade on an exchange, offering intraday liquidity that traditional open-end mutual funds do not provide.

Headlines to Watch Out For
  • Fed rate cut path drives core-plus bond ETF inflows
  • Credit spreads tighten on investment-grade corporate bond demand
  • Rising long-end yields boost duration risk for intermediate bond funds
