Description: SCHV Schwab U.S. Large-Cap Value

The Schwab U.S. Large-Cap Value ETF (SCHV) is a passively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Large-Cap Value Total Stock Market Index. The underlying index consists of the large-cap value segment drawn from the broader Dow Jones U.S. Total Stock Market Index, including components ranked 1–750 by full market capitalization and classified as value based on multiple fundamental factors such as book value, earnings, and dividend yield.

As a large-cap value fund, SCHV provides investors with exposure to established U.S. companies-often in mature sectors such as financials, industrials, healthcare, and consumer staples-that are screened for lower valuation multiples relative to their growth-oriented counterparts. Listed on the NYSE since its launch in December 2009, the fund offers a low-cost, transparent vehicle for accessing the value style within the U.S. equity market.
