Description: XCCC BondBloxx CCC Rated USD

BondBloxx CCC Rated USD High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (XCCC) is a passively managed, non-diversified ETF that seeks to track a specific segment of the U.S. high-yield bond market. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in below-investment-grade (CCC-rated) corporate bonds denominated in U.S. dollars, either directly or indirectly through derivatives.

As a bond ETF, XCCC provides investors with access to the lowest-rated tier of the high-yield corporate bond market, which typically carries higher yields and elevated default risk relative to higher-rated high-yield categories. The funds index is sponsored by an independent index provider, and its non-diversified structure allows for greater concentration in individual issuers than diversified bond funds. Launched in May 2022, XCCC is a small-cap ETF with approximately $301M in assets under management.

Headlines to Watch Out For
  • Recession fears widen CCC credit spreads sharply
  • Rising default rates pressure lowest tier bond valuations
  • Fed rate policy shifts drive high yield demand
