BondBloxx Bloomberg Ten Year Target Duration US Treasury ETF (XTEN) is a passively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks to track an index of U.S. Treasury securities with an average duration of approximately ten years. Under normal conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in U.S. Treasury notes and bonds, either directly or indirectly through derivatives, and it is classified as non-diversified.
As a long-duration government bond ETF, XTEN provides exposure to the intermediate-to-long end of the U.S. Treasury yield curve, with interest rate sensitivity roughly equivalent to that of a ten-year government note. The underlying index is a subset of the Bloomberg U.S. Treasury Index, a widely used benchmark for dollar-denominated U.S. government debt issued by the Treasury Department.
