Description: MING Sparebank 1 SMN

SpareBank 1 SMN is a Norwegian savings bank headquartered in Trondheim, founded in 1823. It provides a broad range of financial services to both retail and corporate customers, including deposits, savings and investment products, loans, financing, real estate brokerage, vehicle leasing, insurance, credit and debit cards, and stock trading and international payment services. The bank also offers trade finance products such as bank guarantees, letters of credit, documentary collections, foreign currency accounts, and forward contracts, alongside capital market and accounting services.

Products are distributed through physical branches, digital and mobile banking channels, and a customer service center. As a member of the SpareBank 1 Alliance, a cooperative grouping of independent Norwegian savings banks, the institution operates under the traditional Norwegian savings bank ownership model, in which equity certificates (rather than conventional shares) are often traded, and the bank combines regional retail banking with broader corporate and capital markets activities.
